What’s going on
Holes, damaged sections, stains after a resolved leak, rough patches, or a ceiling that needs repair — send the room, the damage, and photos. Small patches that go with a paint job already live on the painting pages. This page is for larger repairs. We’ll look at whether it’s paint-related patching, whether Wilke can quote the repair, or whether a specialist is needed. Older materials should not be cut or sanded until someone qualified has looked at them. This is not a claim that Wilke currently hangs or rebuilds drywall as a regular trade. Larger hanging and finishing is reviewed before anyone quotes it.
Why people land here
- A place to send larger holes and ceiling repairs
- Paint-related patching still belongs with a painting quote
- Older materials get flagged instead of disturbed
What this is not
- Load-bearing wall work
- Disturbing asbestos or lead
FAQ
Common questions
Is this the same as the patching you do when you paint?
No. Small paint-related patches stay on the painting quote. This page is for larger repairs that still need a look.
